These answers explain the starting point for working with Huma Zareef Interiors. Your individual proposal and agreed terms define the details of any commission.
Choosing the right design support
Can I enquire about one room?
Yes. Tell us about the room, where it is and what you want help deciding. A single-room enquiry can be assessed without assuming you need a complete-home package.
Do I need to know my style before getting in touch?
No. It is often more useful to explain how you want the space to feel, what you like and what is not working. A few references can help communicate preferences without becoming a rigid design instruction.
Can you help with a creator workspace or computer area?
You can enquire about the layout, furniture, storage and visual background of a home workspace. Explain what you do there and which equipment needs to fit. Technical AV, electrical and acoustic work are separate specialist responsibilities.
Consultation and project fees
How much does a consultation cost?
Contact us for the current format and fee. The session details and applicable terms should be confirmed before booking.
How are design fees agreed?
Fees are set against the scope of the project. The rooms involved, deliverables and review arrangements should be clear in the proposal. Design fees should be distinguished from spending on furniture, products and implementation.
Plans, measurements and preparation
What if I only have a floor plan?
Send what you have and explain whether it is current and measured. Huma can assess what else is needed before a design scope is agreed. Plans may need site verification before anyone orders or builds from the design.
Should I buy furniture first?
It is usually helpful to establish the room’s priorities and dimensions before committing to major pieces. If you have already bought items, include their dimensions and details in the brief.
Design stages and revisions
Will I receive 3D visuals?
Only if they are included in the agreed package. Ask which views, revisions and output formats are covered, rather than assuming every service includes the same material.
What happens if the brief changes?
Discuss the change as early as possible. Work beyond the agreed scope may affect the proposal, fee or programme and needs to be agreed.
Remote and regional projects
Can we work together if the property is outside Qatar?
Send the country, city and type of support required. We will confirm whether the brief can be supported and how measurements, reviews and local implementation would be handled.
Who carries out the building work?
That depends on the project arrangements. Interior design does not automatically include construction, specialist engineering, installation or site supervision. Confirm who is responsible for each before commissioning the work.
Project images and confidentiality
Are all portfolio images photographs of completed rooms?
No. The portfolio includes design concepts and visualisations, with their status identified. A render illustrates the proposed design; it should not be read as proof of physical completion.
Will my project be published?
Project-image and identification permissions should be discussed separately. Tell us if you have particular confidentiality requirements.
